Sportsgirls new collections, "Garden Girl" and "Parallel World" have made me really excited for Spring! The typical Spring florals have been combined with crisp whites, fringing and faded denim to take you back into 90's style, whereas the "Parallel World" collection holds onto the popular edginess in black with embellishments, splashes of colour and Aztec influence to take you well into the night.

Magical Gypsy

The transition from Summer into Autumn always seems to be one of awkwardness in terms of what trends to incorporate into your wardrobe. Summer/Autumn 09 has taken a trip into fantasy land with a look that transforms you into a wanderer through fields, valleys and forests. Paisley prints, a clash of colours, studs, sequins, woven headbands, pretty sandals, fringing frills and beads. So basically, just mash everything you've already got in your cupboard together and there you go ;)

Ribbon Chains

I am in love with ribbon chain bracelets and necklaces! The gold and black look is absolutely gorgeous and looks very classy with any outfit. They actually remind me of the straps of a Chanel bag. All the more reason to get one then!
Cosmopolitan mag had a page on how to make your own, just a bit of gold chain from Spotlight and any colour ribbon you like. Weave it through, tie up the ends and there you go! Super easy. Or you could just head into Diva to buy one ;)

The White Tee

How simple. White tee... black bag. White and black. If you really can't be bothered colour coordinating, how easy is this outfit. Just add some sort of accessory whether it be the black bag, headscarf, gold pendant or interesting shoes and you're set to go.

Cotton On

I've been waiting for this. Cotton On have revamped their website. Although they still don't have many items viewable on there, there's a little improvement. They seem to be partnered with Rubi Shoes now. I wish so much there was a Rubi Shoes store where I live because 1. I love their shoes, and 2. they're so cheap!

Spring Racing

Spring is in the air with daisies popping up in the grass, flies zipping around (sorry, had to mention it!) and crisp mornings combined with warm sunshine. For some people, Spring only means one thing. . . The Races!

Sportsgirl are filled to the brim with Spring styling in an oversupply of formal dresses and out-there accessories. You'd be hard pressed not to find something in there =)

Forever New

I am in love with this store. Sportsgirl stands to be my favourite but Forever New is definately amazing in my eyes. Very feminine and pastel with everything from floaty frocks, chunky handbags, heels and of course this season's gladiators.
